Celtic Connection recording

Rushen Silver Bands 4th recording project, Celtic Connection is a set of 21 songs or tunes with a Celtic Connection. Some are original pieces written for Rushen Silver Band, such as An Island Journey by Alan Fernie, 3 pieces by John Kinley written for the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, or principal cornet Ashley Cole’s Manx Miniatures.

Further Manx music, such as the Manx Evening Fisherman’s Hymn, Little Red Bird and Manxheart, a setting of Manx folk tunes by Alan Fernie, all make this a local recording to remember. Other well known up melodies, such as Highland Cathederal, Men of Harlech and The Lark in the Clear Air represent the other Celtic nations.
